Charlevoix Public Schools Board Vacancy Announcement

Charlevoix Public Schools announces the resignation of Board of Education member Sarah Sheaffer, who has served as Treasurer since January 1, 2025.

In accordance with the direction provided by the Charlevoix Board of Education during its regularly scheduled meeting on June 16, 2025, the district is accepting letters of interest from individuals seeking appointment to the vacant board seat. The posting will remain open until Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

Applicants must submit a letter of interest that outlines their qualifications and relevant experiences, along with a current resume.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a resident of the Charlevoix Public School District

• Must be a registered voter in the district

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be a citizen of the United States
  
  

The Board of Education may conduct interviews with qualified applicants prior to making an appointment.
