About the Programs

The FULL DAY  programs are designed to build kindergarten readiness skills.  The curriculum we use is called Creative Curriculum. In addition to academic concepts, we continue to work on social skills and work habits as well as encouraging sharing and cooperative play with others.  Activities which encourage fine motor skill development (cutting, coloring, gluing etc.) are provided daily.  Other learning activities include games, physical education, art, music and pre-reading and writing developmental exercises.  The preschool teachers work closely with the kindergarten teachers throughout the school year to assure a smooth transition from preschool to kindergarten.

The HALF DAY program for 3 year olds focuses on basic academic concepts with a heavy focus on social skills, cooperative play and daily living skills.  Activities which encourage fine motor skill development (cutting, coloring, gluing etc.) are provided daily. Other learning activities include games, physical education, art and music exploration.

Registration opens at our Open House in April. For more information contact Tricia Petrosky, Program Director, at 231-547-8143 or tpetrosk@rayder.net.
